Frustrated by Biden and Kamala Harris’ indifference to the horrific killings in Gaza, Muslims decided to vote for Trump, and this delivered a big jolt to Democratic Party, which lost in key states & got defeated in the Presidential election.
The Muslim community is present in all states of America but it is concentrated in key states and has urban presence.
As images of deaths and destruction kept coming, the Muslim community that had supported Democrats, earlier, got angry as Biden administration appeared indifferent.
There was no plan or clear statement over stopping the attacks on Palestine. Stunned at this shocking apathy and refusal to even listen to this ongoing human tragedy,
Muslims felt that enough was enough and immediate task was to send a strong message to Kamala Harris who kept on repeating the same line about ‘Israel’s right to defend itself’.
No wonder, the party that had got majority of Muslim voters’ support, found that a large chunk of the Muslim electorate had voted against it.
This hit the Harris campaign. If even 1-2 % vote in a state goes to other side, the change is double–party losing and other candidate gaining, an over all shift of 2-4%, which can drastically change results.
Trump’s dialogue with Muslim voters and his promise for peace, appeared better than Democrats who seemed to have no intention to stop killing of women, children and innocents in Gaza.
In Dearborn, 70% vote went to Republicans and rest. Democrats were devastated.
Michigan has over 2,00,000 Muslims and they were appalled at how killings of minors and flattening of Gaza, was supported.
A section of electorate decides that it may or may not be seen as an endorsement of Republicans, but right now it was needed to oust the democrats, hence, a rejection of Biden and Kamala Harris policies.
CAIR also found that more Muslims supported Trump than Democrats in Michigan. It was the same case in other places.
